Markus Tapio is a sound designer, sound artist and a music maker working in the fields of dance, theater, radio and installation.

Tapio is interested in sound as a performance, art as a potential for empathy, and trash as a form.

In his artistic practice Tapio bridges the gap between human corporality and the non-human using sound as a medium. Tapio has graduated from the University of the Arts Helsinki (MA 2020).
